Asphalt Paving & Repairs

Solid Surface. Clean Finish.

BorderLines offers multiple options for repairing asphalt, so no matter your budget or degree of damage, there is a solution for you. We repair potholes, low spots, large fractured areas, and birdbaths — the spots where water collects and sits — for a level, uniform and structurally sound driveway. We also handle full residential paving, including removal and replacement of existing driveways and new construction.

Options For Any Budget

Temporary Overlay, Premium Repair, and Infrared Repair let you match the fix to the damage and the budget.

Repairs At The Foundation

Our premium repair addresses the structural issue at the base, since insufficient base material is the primary cause of pavement failure.

Thicker Than Most

We lay premium grade hot-mix asphalt at 2½ inches, which is 25% thicker than most asphalt paving companies provide.

Seamless Infrared Blending

Radiated heat softens the existing asphalt so new hot-mix blends in for a seamless repair.

Free Property Assessment

We assess the property at no cost and build a plan and maintenance schedule that fits your driveway.

How We Repair and Pave Your Driveway

  1. 1

    Free Assessment

We assess the property at no cost and develop a repair or replacement plan that is right for you.

  2. 2

    Verify The Base

Before paving we verify the solidity of the driveway's base and substrate, adding Class 5 rock if necessary.

  3. 3

    Allow Compaction Time

If a re-base is performed, the new structure sets for 5-7 days to allow sufficient compaction before paving.

  4. 4

    Clean And Prime

We clean the affected area thoroughly and apply asphalt tack coat, a primer that acts as glue between the new and existing asphalt.

  5. 5

    Pour And Tamp

Hot-mix asphalt is poured into the voids, then raked, feathered, and tamped to compact the material and finalize the repair.
