Wire Brush Scrubbing

A high powered blower clears every crack of dirt, vegetation, asphalt fragments, and moisture.

Rubber heated to 400 degrees is applied inside the cleaned and dry cracks.

Excess rubber is squeegeed flush or just below the crack, then left to cool and set up.

We recommend having new cracks sealed annually. It is the most cost-effective approach to extending the life of your pavement, and sealing cracks every year can double the life of your driveway.
Movement of the sub-surface, expansion and contraction from freeze and thaw cycles, and poor drainage all cause cracks in asphalt. The better job you do at sealing out moisture, the less movement you will get during freeze and thaw cycles.
Rubberized crack sealers need to cool and set up before you walk or drive on them, and outside temperatures affect cure time. We recommend you do not park on the sealed cracks for at least 48 hours, and even longer in warm weather.
That is normal. Our crack fill is 100% rubber heated to 400 degrees, and after it cools it is supposed to stay flexible so it can expand and contract with the pavement. Press it with your finger and it will flex; park on it and it will temporarily hold the tire tread pattern.
Crack sealing on a driveway that has not been sealcoated in years can look unsightly, so many homeowners have the driveway sealed right after crack sealing for an even, deep black finish. For optimal maintenance, we recommend cracks filled annually and sealcoating every two to three years.
